Ramón Allones Cabinet of 100 Coronas
A veritable "Pre-Embargo" museum piece!
Composed of 100 coronas, this beautiful humidor is a veritable museum piece. Each vitola bears an authentic embossed band of the brand. This band was used to dress cigars of Ramón Allones standard catalog until 1972. Eventually, it was re-introduced on the Allones Extra for the Edición Limitada 2011. This ultimate cigar element has since been reused for two Edición Regional: the Short Perfectos (50 x 127 mm, ER Italia 2014) and the Perfectos (48 x 137 mm, ER Suiza 2014).
The cabinet that we present today was produced between 1951 and 1959. Its format is absolutely unique and was reserved for the elite for very special occasions. It also served as a "bank humidor", that is an item that only the wealthiest customers could acquire.
At that time, the brand Romeo y Julieta also produced a humidor of 100 pieces, Coronations de Luxe.
As for the cigars, they are in a remarkable condition: the capes are still oily while the colorado color of the cigars enhances the humidor’s appearance.
The number of produced humidors is not known, however, the quantity was undoubtedly limited, as a proof of an exclusive custom-made work.
