He then joined the famous Maison Louis Vuitton, which, in the mid-19th century, invented the flat trunk, which is easier to stack than the traditional trunks with domed lids.
From then on, Julien wanted to build, with the help of craftsmen, real tailor-made cases to satisfy collectors, experiences lovers and travellers wishing to protect precious goods in luxury trunks. T.T.Trunks soon found its logo, emblem, manifesto... three rivets that have become the symbol of a sharp imagination and irreproachable expertise.
According to him, the greatest difficulty he faced was certainly to have had to revive a trade that was no longer taught and to give a new taste to this object originally used on the big ocean liners and then in trains in the 19th century.
After a lot of effort and hard work, the man can congratulate himself on having succeeded. If the company still remains very exclusive, it has the ambition to become the reference in trunks. As proof of this ambition, the "3 Rivet Maison" offers individual appointments at Le Bristol Hotel in Paris as a partner of the Oetker Collection group and their Eden Being boutiques, and is also present through seasonal boutiques in the most beautiful destinations, including this winter in the Bernard Orcel boutique in Courchevel.
