To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the company in 2022, the limits of the possible have once again been pushed back with the creation of the Casino pocket complication lighter, inspired by luck and gambling. To achieve this, the master craftsmen of the S.T. Dupont atelier in Faverges, in the French Alps, have taken the graphic codes of carpets, playing cards and casino chips to create a true masterpiece of micromechanics worthy of the finest jewelry and watchmaking. Carefully assembled, the various components form a piece of perfect performance and aesthetics.
With this jewel, a night at the casino arrives right in your pocket. It is enhanced by meticulously engraved decorations, such as playing cards, chips and a roulette table. A glass window reveals a stunning roulette wheel colored by S.T. Dupont's natural lacquer in the center of the lighter. The roulette can be activated by a push button on the side of the lighter to give way to luck: chance then designates one of the numbers, while revealing the 26 rubies integrated into the micro-mechanism. Available in palladium, yellow gold, rose gold and black PVD finishes, a total of 264 pieces are needed to make this exceptional piece.
The "Casino" complication pocket lighter is staged in the brand's signature "Cube" humidor, finished in matte black and elaborately decorated. On the top, the elegant silver S.T. Dupont logo is stamped on the top. Another of the House's great skills is added to the experience, designing prestigious humidors, whose quality is no longer to be proven. Indeed, in the casino of life, you have to bet on the right combinations! Thus, S.T. To make this experience even more unique and personal, it is possible to personalize the lighter with two options: the first one allows to engrave one's initials next to the serial number, on the underside of the wheel, while the second one proposes to add a precious stone next to one's lucky number, located on the game board on the back of the lighter.
