In 2003, in the heart of Little Havana, Jose Pepin Garcia and his family embarked on a journey that would shape the landscape of the cigar industry. From humble beginnings arose My Father Cigars, a testament to their unwavering love and dedication to the craft.
What started as a small cigar factory soon blossomed into a global phenomenon, with My Father becoming synonymous with excellence and innovation. Jose Pepin Garcia, affectionately known as Don Pepin, could not have foreseen the magnitude of his creation, fueled by a lifelong passion for cigars.
In 2009, the Garcia family celebrated a milestone with the inauguration of My Father Cigars factory in Nicaragua, marking a pivotal moment in their journey. The Garcia Family Industrial Park emerged, a sprawling complex dedicated to the production of premium cigars. Here, tobacco is cultivated, harvested, and crafted into exquisite blends, all under one roof.
Led by Don Pepin and his son Jaime Garcia, My Father Cigars has curated a portfolio of blends that have captivated aficionados worldwide, like “Don Pepin Garcia”, “Flor de Las Antillas”, and, of course, “My Father”. Their dedication to quality and innovation has earned them numerous accolades, including the prestigious title of "America’s Hottest Cigar Maker" by Cigar Aficionado.
At the helm of My Father Cigars headquarters is Janny Garcia, Pepin’s daughter, overseeing operations with precision and care. Together, the Garcia family upholds the traditions learned in Cuba, maintaining two factories that produce twelve esteemed brands.
