Description

The Tabacalera 1916 Belicoso marks a new chapter for the Eiroa family, blending generations of cigar-making tradition into a refined and approachable smoking experience. Introduced at the 2026 PCA Convention & Trade Show, this Honduran release reflects the vision of Santi Eiroa, who sought to create a cigar that bridges the fuller-bodied preferences of his father, Christian, and the milder style favored by his grandfather, Julio.

Handcrafted in Honduras, the Belicoso features a five-year-aged Habano wrapper and binder, enveloping a distinctive filler composed of Corojo and the rare Pinareño tobacco. Originally brought to Honduras in 1960, Pinareño is prized for its unique character despite its delicate nature and limited yields, making it one of the most intriguing tobaccos in the Eiroa portfolio.

Presented in an elegant Belicoso vitola (50 x 165 mm), the cigar delivers a light-to-medium-bodied profile with exceptional balance, offering notes of cedar, roasted nuts, gentle spice, and creamy sweetness throughout the smoke. Smooth yet complex, the Tabacalera 1916 Belicoso is an ideal choice for aficionados seeking elegance, history, and the unmistakable signature of the Eiroa family in every draw.
