C.L.E 25th Anniversary

C.L.E Cigar Company, founded by Christian Eiroa, an iconic figure in the tobacco industry, has announced the arrival of a new blend in its regular catalog: the CLE 25th Anniversary. However, the name it bears does not refer to the 25th anniversary of the brand, but rather celebrates the 25 years that its founder dedicated to the cigar industry.

This line welcomes 4 new vitolas: the CLE 25th Anniversary Robusto (50 x 127 mm), the Toro Grande (54 x 152 mm), the Gordo (60 x 152 mm) and the 11/18 (54 x 152 mm). The latter is only distributed in certain exclusive sales points.

Each of these puros are entirely made in the CLE Cigar Company factory in Honduras and include the coveted Authentic Corojo tobacco. They are available in boxes of 25 units.

Small review of the various cigars:

First, the Robusto (50 x 127 mm): Perfectly rolled, this cigar delivers a dense smoke with aromas of leather, hazelnut, chocolate and pepper. Its power evolves from medium to strong during a 50 minutes tasting.

Continuing with the Toro Grande (54 x 152 mm), its Honduran tobacco leaves aged for several years promise a rich and complex flavor. Earthy notes, accompanied by coffee and citrus, emerge from this remarkably constructed cigar. Its tasting time is about 55 minutes.

Then, the Gordo (60 x 152 mm): It is the most generous format of the 25th Anniversary collection. Once lit, it delivers a spicy flavor, balanced by hazelnut and presenting a cigar of medium strength. The tasting of this vitola is 65 minutes.

Finally, the 11/18 (54 x 152 mm): This cigar has a cylindrical format with two ends narrower than the rest of the cigar, covered in a Maduro wrapper. The particularity of this vitola is that it is presented as a box pressed. It delivers aromas of black pepper, cinnamon, cedar and lemon.

Arranged in cabinets of 25 units, all the cigars of the line are dressed in a packaging with the brand's logo on a green and red background, as well as the carefully crafted ring decorated with golden borders.

About the brand:

The C.L.E Cigar Company's story began two decades ago when Christian Eiroa, a Honduran cigar enthusiast, founded Camacho Corojo in the 2000's. He will make a name for himself and become very successful by welcoming his customers to his farm in Honduras and explaining the entire process of creating a cigar. After selling Camacho Cigars to Davidoff in 2008, Christian Eiroa decided to create his own brand, C.L.E Cigar, in 2012.

Thanks to the traditional and innovative manufacturing methods, as well as the quality of the cigars, the brand will quickly grow. It will also be recognized for its exclusive use of Corojo tobacco, grown in Honduras and offering a rich flavor and distinctive aroma.

In 2013, the Eiroa line will be launched in honor of the brand's founder. To this day, the farm of the same name, is one of the most technologically advanced tobacco farms in the world. It is in the Jamastran Valley, where some of the best leaves of the region grow.

The C.L.E. factory is located in Danlí. There, the rollers use the cigar manufacturing technique developed by the Eiora family, guaranteeing impeccable construction, combustion and blending. This factory has been certified by Bayer CropScience, which has allowed it to reduce the impact of its production on the environment and to eliminate additives that are harmful to health. C.L.E. also looks after the well-being of its craftsmen and provides on-site doctors to meet their health needs.
