Capitol is a new cigar, entering on the Swiss market. Inspired by the roaring 20s and the hedonistic life of the Great Gatsby (Scott Fitzgerald’s famous novel), the brand partnered with the best cigar industry professionals to create this first luxurious edition. Naturally the choice fell on Plasencia, family-owned brand in Estelí, Nicaragua, known for their high standards and impeccable quality. What’s more, Rafael Nodal, an illustrious master-blender, has participated in the creation of the blend, bringing his touch.
These 100% Nicaraguan puros are hand-rolled using premium tobacco leaves. The line consists of three elegant vitolas - Jack, Casino et Gala. Each aficionado will find a cigar according to his preferences: Jack measures 52 x 120 mm, Casino is 54 x 135 mm while Gala has the biggest ring gauge and is the longest one - 56 x 155 mm.
Every cigar from the line is finished with a pigtail, showcasing torcerdor’s skills. Medium to full-bodied, this smoke develops spicy, fruity and woody notes, with a delicate creamy touch.
Cigars come in a chic, yet minimalistic wooden box, decorated in black and gold colors, once again reminding of the jazz and glamour times. Each box holds 10 cigars, dressed in a band repeating the brand’s colors.
For the 1st year of the launch, Capitol cigars are available exclusively in the Habanos Specialist retail shops, like the House of Grauer.
