CigarKings, an ambitious and innovative brand that reflects the talent of its young creator, Philipp Kugler.
Completing his studies in design and communication, Philipp Kugler, 21 years old, has the mission to develop a new brand. But unlike his classmates, the young visionary is not attracted by fashion, neither by beauty industry. Determined to pursue the passion driving his goals, he imagined, for the first time, the creation of the CigarKings brand.
This school project will finally turn into reality in 2016, when the company CigarKings was founded. Philipp Kugler will now specialize in the import, export and distribution of handmade premium cigars produced in Nicaragua. Originally from Bavaria, he will set up his headquarters in Munich, Germany, in order to offer the European market, the opportunity to buy the products from his Nicaraguan production.
The success of this young man and his company is not only related to his love for cigars, but also to his talent for creating, designing and marketing. He also expresses his desire to make further progress in sustainability in the tobacco industry and the respect of its climate.
In this case, it is equally important for Philipp to offer his employees ideal working conditions. CigarKings produces its vitolas in a small factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, where all the workers are Cuban exiles, including the rollers. There, he makes it a priority to ensure that all workers are well-treated and that they do not suffer from any kind of stress. There is no specific number of cigars to be delivered per day, as long as they are carefully rolled and reflect the design and the conception that Philipp personally supervises.
It is in this small "family business", as he likes to call it, that is elaborated the cigar that interests us today: the CigarKings Gigantes FT Sun Grown. It is entirely hand-rolled with an “Entubado” style, which is the oldest and the most difficult method, but also the best in terms of the cigar’s combustion and tasting. This rolling style consists in forming a distinct channel for the smoke to pass through, thus improving aficionado’s experience by enhancing the flavor of each puff. Finally, it allows a slow combustion and an incredibly smooth draw that will capture all flavors present in the blend. Only a few rollers can deliver this level of roll. This cigar also features a beautiful and unusual Flag Tail.
The Gigantes FT Sun Grown is the brand new vitola of the CigarKings Nicaragua series. Harmonious and generous, with a length of 195 mm and a cepo of 49, it will offer an almost two-hour tasting! Aromatically, this limited-edition cigar, produced at only 150 cabinets, absolutely keeps its promises and offers a rich diversity of flavors ranging from grass to coffee and leather.
Presented in a cabinet of 48 units, the cigars are wrapped with a pretty and original purple ribbon. Each one is dressed with a first ring bearing the company's motif, the famous "Cigar King" wearing his crown with an "Elegantes" between the lips. The second ring bears the name "CigarKings".
Finally, everything about this cigar has been conceived and considered in order to offer CigarKings’s aficionados a superior tasting experience.
