H. Upmann Super Magnum

Each new volume of the Colección Habanos is one of the most eagerly awaited Habanos special productions by aficionados from all over the world. Last February, as it does every year at the Festival del Habano, Habanos unveiled its new "book": the H. Upmann Super Magnum.

For Cuban cigar enthusiasts, each edition of the Colección Habanos is a real object of desire because of its rarity and the know-how used to create it. H. Upmann is one of the oldest Habanos brands. As early as the 1940s, the brand began to produce books, those book-shaped office humidors. These were the inspiration for the creation of the Colección Habanos in 2001. This close link in H. Upmann and the Colección Habanos will help to make this new edition highly sought-after by collectors.

This is the second time that the H. Upmann brand has been selected for the Colección Habanos. Indeed, the brand's first book was released in 2007, the Magnum Especial (55 x 170 mm). Also noteworthy is the brand's presence in the "Obras Completas", 2011 edition of the Colección Habanos, which contains 30 cigars: 3 pieces from each of the 10 previous editions.

Only 3,000 pieces of the H. Upmann Super Magnum Book have been produced worldwide, exclusively for the Casa del Habano stores. Each of these collector's items contains 20 "Radiantes" (56 x 180 mm): a generously sized vitola, specially created by Habanos for the occasion. While the Magnum line has already offered two cigars in 56 cepo: the Magnum 56 Edición Limitada 2015 & Magnum 56 Jar (Duty Free and Travel Retail), the Super Magnum is the longest vitola in the line.

Like all the cigars in the Magnum line, the Super Magnum is dressed with a double band. The first is the brand's classic band and the second is personalised with the cigar's name. A third band stamped "Colección Habanos" on the base of the cigar is also present, a first for a book.

Each Super Magnum has been entirely handmade with the utmost care from the leaves from the Vuelta Abajo, where the best tobacco in the world is harvested. The Book H. Upmann Super Magnum is a very exclusive collector's item for those who are passionate about the brand and its aromatic elegance.
