Juan López Malecon Edición Regional Andorra 2015
Named after Havana's famous waterfront promenade.
Andorra, has just received its latest regional edition to date: the Juan López Malecon!
Although Andorra is one of the smallest sovereign states in Europe, it stands out for the number of regional editions it has, 6, making it one of the countries with the most! Among them, the Juan López brand has already been chosen three times!
Thus, the Malecon adds a vitola to the Juan López "Exclusivo Andorra" series by succeeding the Selección No.5 of 2010 and Robusto Superior of 2011.
The Malecon is a Montesco, a vitola measuring 55 of cepo and 130 mm long, relatively rare because, to date, only one brand uses it in its regular catalogue, Romeo y Julieta with the Wide Chrchills. However, it has already been used by Juan López for the Punto 55 of 2018 in Edición Regional Francia. It has also been used in the Edición Limitada program with the Montecristo Supremos Edición Limitada 2019.
As for the cigar's name, Malecon, is a tribute to the famous eponymous promenade located on the waterfront north of Havana. In English, Malecón means "the pier".
The production of Malecon is limited to 2'500 individually numbered boxes of 20 cigars for the Andorran market.
