The Liga Privada "L40" was launched for the first time in autumn 2011. The name of this cigar is simple, with the "L" representing the lancero format and the "40" corresponding to its calibre. This is a particularly interesting vitola, as it combines the length of a Churchill or Julieta No.2, measuring 178mm, with the elegance of the Laguito Especial or Fundadores.

This cigar arouses great interest and anticipation every year because of its extremely limited production. Each release is carefully coordinated, guaranteeing optimum quality and exclusivity for discerning connoisseurs. The Liga Privada "L40" embodies the very essence of finesse and sophistication, offering an unparalleled taste experience.

This is a Liga Privada cigar that has everything you've come to love visually. Its dark chocolate-coloured maduro wrapper, with a certain roughness but very oily, is perfectly applied, with few veins. This module is presented in boxes of 15 cigars in the same row, which gives it a proud look when opened.

After the cigar has been cut, the raw draw offers notes of sweet cedar and a hint of walnut. Once lit, a delicate bitterness emerges, a perfect match for a beer. A third of the way through the Liga Privada 40 lanceros, citrus notes, cedar and a subtle hint of iodine can be detected. The citrus notes fade in the middle of the first third, slowly replaced by walnut, chocolate and notes of coffee grounds.

The second third of the cigar is a little spicier, particularly in the aftertaste. The main notes are still walnut, cedar and chocolate, although hints of leather gradually appear at the end of the second third. This vitola proves to be quite rich without being overpowering, offering a notable evolution of the aforementioned aromas right to the end.

In conclusion, the leather notes become dominant with a little cedar and vanilla in the background, while the walnut continues to fill our palate. Retro-olfaction offers subtle pepper and molasses that appear on the long finish. It's a lovely blend of remarkably well-balanced flavours, a great success!
