Partagás Serie P No.2 Serie Sevilla Jar
Tribute to a famous jar from the 1920s.
The "Serie Sevilla" is a limited, exclusively intended for the Spanish market, edition of carefully aged Habanos cigars presented in a porcelain jar.
This fourth edition of the "Serie Sevilla" consists of 2'000 individually numbered jars. It thus comes after previous editions dedicated to the brands Montecristo, Hoyo de Monterrey and H.Upmann.
Each jar contains 21 Partagás Serie P No.2 (52 x 156 mm), a vitola that appeared in the brand's catalog in 2005. For this occasion they are dressed with a special double band and have been aged for a minimum of five years in the best conditions of conservation. In that way, the cigars have obtained particular aromas which avid aficionados will undoubtedly enjoy.
The jar was handmade by the artisans of the house La Cartuja in Seville. This pottery, founded in 1841, was at that time one of the most famous in Europe and has also been named Official Supplier of the Royal House of Spain. The Cartuja is also at the origin of the famous Partagás and Ramón Allones jars. Made in the 1920s, they have become museum pieces today.
