Ramón Allones Allones No. 2 Edición Limitada 2019
The third and last limited edition for 2019!
Presented in England by Habanos last August, the Ramón Allones Allones No. 2 Edición Limitada 2019 has just arrived in Switzerland! The launch event was organised by Hunters & Frankau, the exclusive distributor of Cuban cigars in the UK.
Due to the recent events related to COVID-19, the Allones No. 2 was, for the first time in the history of limited editions, presented virtually. Guests had the opportunity to participate simultaneously in the first exclusive online tasting. Each guest had received prior to the event an individual tasting pack which included: the cigar, a dose of Hine cognac, a cognac glass and specially chosen chocolates that had been made to match the Ramón Allones No. 2.
The Allones No. 2 is the third Edición Limitada of 2019 and also the third of the Ramón Allones brand. It joins the Quai d'Orsay Senadores and Montecristo Supremos that arrived earlier this year.
To make this vitola, the cap and filler leaves are from the Vuelta Abajo and were meticulously selected and then aged for a minimum of two years before being rolled in the "Totalmente a Mano" tradition.
The Allones No. 2 is a Campanas, a vitola measuring 52 of cepo and 157 mm long. It has already been used by Ramón Allones on several occasions for regional editions. The vitola is also used by Bolívar, for his much appreciated Belicosos Finos.
The Ramón Allones Allones No. 2 is available in limited quantities and comes in a box of 10 cigars, each with a second band stamped "Edición Limitada 2019"! A small novelty regarding the packaging: this new limited edition is, like the other two limited editions of the year, presented in an exclusive box. However, this time the box is covered with a dark green lacquer, the same colour that is of the brand. The result creates a beautiful effect!
