Davidoff presents a new limited edition exclusively made of Dominican tobaccos that have been aged up to 10 years: the Special «53». In fact, the Capa Dominicana has been aged for 10 years, the binder for 8 years and the filler tobacco for more than 6 years, in order to offer a singular taste experience. Launched for the first time in 2002, this limited edition has a unique shape, Perfecto format, with a cepo of 53. Due to the complexity of its construction and the exceptional knowledge it requires, this module is the pinnacle of the art of cigar rolling.
The blend that makes up the Special «53» was first produced in 2002, when the cultivation of wrapper leaves in the Dominican Republic was still considered impossible. Following its great success at the time, Davidoff reintroduced this exceptional cigar in a limited edition 18 years later.
The production of the Special «53» is limited to 9'700 boxes of 10 units. The cigars are presented in a magnificent numbered wooden box stamped with a "vintage blend" logo attesting to the age of the tobacco leaves used to create this magnificent Perfecto.
