Montecristo "A"
The perfect Habano for special events!
Certified as "the most expensive cigar in the world" by Guinness World Records since its introduction to the market in 1971, Montecristo "A" is undoubtedly the brand's most iconic cigar.
Featuring a considerable size, the "Monte A" is a Gran Corona, otherwise called Giant Corona, which is 235 mm long for a cepo of 47. It is thus the longest vitola in Montecristo catalog. Such a vitola requires a use of tobacco leaves of exceptional quality.
A packaging of boxes of 25 cigars disappeared in 2010. Since then, it is only available in boxes of five units. Each cigar is also packed in an individual box called "Coffin".
The cigar is dressed in a beautiful oily cape. Between two and three hours will be necessary to take full advantage of its excellent draw offering aromas of sweet spices, nuts and nutmeg with an earthy touch, finally quite close to those of Montecristo No.1.
Produced in very small quantities, Montecristo "A" is the Habano reserved for special events!
