The eighth edition of the "Colección Vintage" with 10 year-old cigars!
The "Colección Vintage" is a limited edition, exclusively for the Spanish market, of carefully aged Habanos cigars presented in a porcelain jar.
This eighth edition of the "Colección Vintage" consists of 2'000 individually numbered jars. It comes after the previous edition: El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme Colección Vintage Jar.
Each jar contains 19 Montecristo No.1 (42 x 165 mm) which have been aged for at least ten years in the best conservation conditions. This ageing process imparts them with distinct aromas delighting connoisseurs. For the occasion, the cigars are dressed with a special double band, that repeats the jar’s colours and motifs and is stamped "Colección Vintage".
Each jar was handcrafted by artisans in Talavera de la Reina, a town near Toledo. It used to be the main centre for the production of coloured porcelain in Spain from the 16th to the middle of the 18th century. They are replicas of the famous jars made for Partagás in the 1920s, which have now become museum pieces.
