Ramón Allones Nuevo Mundo Edición Regional Costa Rica 2017
First regional edition for Costa Rica and Nicaragua!
The Ramón Allones Nuevo Mundo has been the first regional edition for Costa Rica and Nicaragua since 2005, when Habanos S.A. launched the series. So its "Exclusivo Costa Rica" band is totally new.
However, this vitola has already made its appearance in 2015 with the release of Ramón Allones Robusto XXL Edición Regional Belux. Indeed, the cigar size chosen by Ramón Allones for these two regional editions is Geniales (54 x 150 mm). This vitola, more commonly known as Robusto Extra, has been quite popular in recent years for regional editions. It has been used since 2009 by Montecristo for the Open Eagle. More recently Diplomáticos used this size for the Ammunition (Edición Regional Phoenicia 2018).
The production of Nuevo Mundo is limited to 7,500 boxes of 10 cigars each and is exclusively for Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Its production is therefore greater than that of its counterpart, the Robusto XXL, that was produced in 5,000 boxes of 10 cigars.
