One of the five vitolas of the brand’s 50th anniversary!
The brand Trinidad, created in 1969, introduces three new vitolas to its regular portfolio, two of which are a special production for its 50th anniversary. Although the brand is one of the youngest of Habanos S.A, Trinidad enjoys great popularity among connoisseurs.
The Media Luna is one of three novelties that come into regular production. It joins the Esmeralda (53 x 145 mm) and the Topes (56 x 125 mm). The latter has the largest cepo ever produced by the brand so far. However, the announced gauge of Trinidad 50 Aniversario cigars will be even greater: 59 x 155mm.
Named after a hotel of magnificent colonial architecture which can be found in the eponymous street of Trinidad, the Media Luna has a completely new format: 50 x 115 mm. The only brand that also uses this size is Quintero with Favoritos (Concha No.2).
Like the Short de Punch, also released this year, the Media Luna is a part of "Short Smokes" trend and will delight the aficionados who appreciate short vitolas of large calibres.
