Since becoming one of Scotland’s first legally licensed distillers, The Macallan has built its reputation around an uncompromising approach to craftsmanship. Its distinctive character is shaped by three worlds: the natural resources and traditions of Scotland, the oak casks sourced from Spain and North America, and the expertise of the people who bring them together.
At the heart of The Macallan’s philosophy lies its exceptional oak casks. Carefully selected, crafted, toasted and seasoned under the supervision of the Master of Wood, each cask plays a decisive role in the whisky’s development. The Macallan considers cask quality to be one of the most important influences on the final character and flavour of its single malts.

- For one evening, discover The Macallan's meticulous approach through a guided tasting. From the story of the house to the art of maturation, you'll be guided behind the scenes of The Macallan and get introduced its expressions, each offering its own interpretation of the house style.
Whisky tasting
- Explore a selection of The Macallan whiskies and discover the different expressions of the house style, with a focus on character, maturation and the influence of exceptional oak casks.
Cigar pairing
- The whisky tasting will be accompanied by a Casa Carrillo 15th Anniversary, a rich and complex cigar revealing notes of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, cedar and subtle spices, with a lingering sweetness that makes it a natural companion to The Macallan’s deep and layered character.
Gourmet pairing
- A selection of gourmet creations will accompany the tasting, adding the final touch to an evening dedicated to flavour and discovery.
